The block number - in this case 3970010 - is not the same as the block alloy casting codes (010, 020) that show alloy content and are cast inside the timing cover area on the front of the block. Also forgot to mention this block was used for both 327 and 350 cubic in. motors. Became a 350 for 68 up in most Chev. lines. Block usually will have the 10/20 tin nickel content. All cylinders are standard bore. The block was originally installed in a big 1969 Chevrolet truck. The suffix code stamped on the deck pad is WM. No V.I.N. stamping anywhere on the block.
