Like I said, we were basically doing a mirror of the old unit, but everyone kept saying they wanted the old holes covered. has anyone plugged the holes? if so, what did you use? id love to take mine off, but then i know i will have bolt holes. in the past ive seen use plastic plugs on other chassis. im thinking i could also get some sort stainless bolts and seal the holes with nylon washers or something. evenutally ill buy bertman's hilux surf rear spoiler.May 24, 2008 · Yes Andy just pop off the cover on the inner roof and there are holes punched through the metal lining. I just offered the spoiler up to the roof got it level and looking right marked the area where the studs were on the roof drilled a small pilot hole first, that all looked ok then bolted it down you will need a hole saw for the cable gland/grommet.Like I said the small plug is sitting there ...
