Hp printer stuck on initializing

HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fnw stuck on initializing for hours. This printer is only a few years old. Our power went out and when I turn it on, it hangs at initializing for hours and hours. I've tried multiple quick fixes online, like hard resets, holding 3 buttons on the touch screen to reset it, but it still won't get passed initializing.
