While driving to a trailhead the other day on good paved roads, my transmission overheated again. It started with the whine and then the warning light.

It has now been 4 1/2 Years with 85,000 miles. There is one golden rule to these things. If the ambient air (outside) temperature is at 70*. Do not drive 70 mph. The cvtfluid will begin to foam.
