Just get the Ultimate Bag mod, I've gotten like 400 logs into one without issue. I mean, the mod has issues, the bag has the carrying capacity of a semi and trying to find a bandage in it slows the game down to a halt as it has to reindex the bag every time you want to disinfect a cut and then when you bandage it the game freezes for like 3 minutes.Trees take damage just like zombies, so leveling up your axe skill and strength will make it easier.
